This costume is tremendous artwork! The skullface looks awesome with that little moon on the forehead. Although I have a big head (baseball cap size: 8!) I was able to get in that chest&headpiece. The breathing holes (mouth) make it comfortable to wear although it’s some kind of rubber/latex and sits directly on your face. I did not sweat much in that facemask.I even was able to drink a beer while wearing it (had to use a straw though) – BUT I hydrated! The cloth that’s glued to the eyeholes is a little bit thin which makes it easy to see through but of course also easy to spot your eyes in that costume. In my case it was a pro because the moving eyes must have looked kinda scary, quote: “like the eyes of an insane creepy guy”.The giant hands are wonderfully crafted. I love the wounds on the hands. They’re gory glossy and look awesome! At the wrist there are shakles with metal chains, so you can make some noise. Simple plastic tubes function as handles inside. There are 2 minor(!) CONs on this product and both are on the gown:1) The gown is a little shorter in the front than shown on the picture. So better make sure you have a pair of long black trousers underneath and black shoes.2) Anytime you raise your hands to much the sleeves slide to your elbows and off your rubber hands and forearms, exposing your real arms. Without help you’re going to have a hard time sliding them back up.Although I found 2 CONs on this product I am still giving away 5 stars because these CONs are minor. We had a blast with this costume giving away candy on the porch, scaring the kids and parents! Everybody liked it!

I am giving this costume 5 stars as it was a great deal at $169.00. But there is room for improvement.First the good:The head is a great sculpture, well cast in thick latex and very well painted, the paint does not flake off and stretches well as you pull the mask over your head. ( im 6-2″ with a big head and it easily fits me)The arms and hand extensions are also well painted and very light weight, the hand holds inside are crude but do an adequate jobThe undershirt is very long and fits well (i am a 45″ chest)The costume was well packed (double boxed) and arrived via Amazon Prime in just 2 days (great service)The Bad:If you have a big head and fine hair you will need to put on a nylon scull cap used under wigs or something similar to stop the latex pulling some of your hair out as it did with me the first time i tried it on. You could use Johnson’s baby powder on the inside of the mask but that becomes messy, but it would smell better than the latex and allow the mask to slip on easier. I feel the nylon scull cap would be the best solution. I used an old baseball cap and cut off the peak. ( next time i will use the nylon scull cap)The mask is heavy and cast in thick latex with two small eye holes next to the creatures eyes These are crudely cut out and quite sharp so you may have to do some fine cutting (be extremely careful if you do this as you could slip and ruin the mask or cut yourself) or adding some foam around that area to stop the sharp edges digging into your eyes.Inside the head under the hair is foam rubber to keep the top of the head flat and to raise the head higher on your own head to enable you to see out of the eye slits. In my case i needed to add 2 more inches of foam to bring the slits up to eye level. I also added foam on the checks and around the forehead to stop the head slipping as it tended to do even on my big head. The supplied chains will need to be fixed in place with string or zip-ties as it will not hold in place by itself, it just unties and drops to the floor. One final point is that the whole outfit could be much better if one was able to fit the costume over the head instead of the head resting on top of the costume. Maybe a zipper in the front of both the burlap top and the undershirt would help with this giving a much more realistic illusion .The foam inside the hands and arms came too far up the arm and i was not able to get enough of my arms inside. To fix this i spent 45 minutes pulling the excess foam from ininside the arm to enable my hands to go inside enough to hide the ends of the fake arms under the supplied shirtThe Ugly:Well its certainly that and more, The kids that saw me walking from my car to my office in this costume went screaming and crying to their parents, that is a good testament to its effectiveness .It seems like i have written a lot of negative stuff here but they are all minor issues give the great price i paid through Amazon. i would 100% recommend this costume to anyone if you have a little time and skill to make it custom fit your head.

bought this one to replace an older one i use at our haunted walk. this really gets the screams and a few wet pants when it comes out of the shadows clawing those massive hands at people.the mask is a bit of a challenge at first, and vision is very limited. i use a balaclava under all my masks, and it really helps. one pro to the size of the mask is you can wear glasses to see (if you have to wear them), but they do fog up at first. the mask does get hot, and you sweat!i extended to pipe in the arms 3 extra inches on the new one, to get more fright out of the reaching arms, but that’s just a personal modification, they are really cool to see.the original was second hand and abused, and it lasted for 5 years. so, taken care of (and clean the inside of the mask) this one should last for a lot longer. also the robe that comes with the costume makes an awesome base for other characters, as i will do 5 or more in one night.

For the money for this outfit its just okay. At over $100 + I was definitely expecting more. For those that are giving 5 stars they must have low expectations. The arms are made of a foam and plastic type material so the three top fingers as shown look cool but the bottom claw is hollow rubber and I had to pack with old rags so they would not look lame and flat. There are sticks inside to hold onto. The mask is horrible to see out of so I have no clue how anyone would wear without modifying. I actually took a paper tube to place inside the mask to stretch it a little from collapsing and could barely see. Its okay but definitely not worth the money paid. I am disappointed that it is so difficult to wear the mask as I would have thought they could have added some internal structure to it to make it more functional. Mine will be up for sale next year as I probably only had it on for less than an hour. Seriously after tripping several times and struggling to see were the heck I was walking it annoyed me the price I paid for a horrible experience in an expensive costume.
