My family goes big for Halloween. We include our two dogs in our themed family costume. This matched my daughter’s Miss Vorhees costume superbly. It was a little big so I had to hand tack the belly side to prevent my male poodle from peeing all over himself. The mask is a soft foam and cute, BUT the string to secure the mask had not only came off the mask it was also unraveling. I had to tie the string and resew it to the mask. Not terribly hard to fix, but it would have been nice if no repair was necessary. I would have liked the design to be different as well. The iconic hockey mask is hidden underneath on the dogs chest and it’s split bc that’s where you velcro your dog’s suit. Also, the back of the costume should have just read ‘voorhees’ with a huge number 13 like my daughter’s costume. That would have been way cuter!

Thought this would be perfect for my white shepherd “Jason”. I waited until it was almost too late to order this hoping it would fit my ever growing pup for Halloween. I went by the measurements on the party City website since there wasn’t any to be found on Amazon. I had 3 inches of leeway and was still way too small. The Velcro would pop out on his chest and it sat too low making it pretty worthless. I could’ve pinned it, but didn’t want him to be uncomfortable and went with something much different. The mask doesn’t stay put and ends up being more of a necklace that will annoy your dog. I didn’t figure it would stay on for much longer than to take a cute picture, but I’m definitely disappointed that the sizing was off. He got to the mask before I could put it away so a return wasn’t possible. It’s too bad, he looked so cute in it.

This costume is very cute, but the sizing is very misleading. I used the size chart and measured based off of what it said, and there was still supposed to be some give. I figured a large would be perfect and although the measurements were correct, it doesn’t have any give to stretch out the chest enough to get my puppies paws and limbs through the sleeves. I’m going to have to cut them and sew in some Velcro in order to make this work. Unfortunately i don’t have time for an exchange.

My German Shepherd mix was the Jason to my Freddy for Halloween. We got so many complements. Her costume was great quality. She didn’t itch or scratch while wearing it. The velcro kept the costume in place while we took the kids truck or treating & attended a Halloween festival. What I did not like is the size runs smaller. We got the XL which barley fit our 50 lb. girl.

Ollie is about 18lbs and we got a large. It barely fit around his belly. Normally a large in Rubies costumes fit him. It is narrow, but long so it goes past his tail. It doesnt have any give or stretch due to the material type. It’s cute though and will work for the group pictures that we are doing.

Definitely order a size up for your doggie, I ordered a small based on measurements, and it was too small, I got it on him no problem but he refused to move afterwards lol definitely going to order a medium right now, besides that, the quality was great! The mask was super cute, and its soft foam, easy for him to wear on his head.

Fast shipping, and the jersey is cute, but if this is XL I’ll eat my hat. My dog can’t even wear this and nothing larger than XL available.
