This mask is based on the game arkham city and is easily the best batman mask for the price at under 50 bucks you cannot go wrong. There is a fantastic video on YouTube that shows how to tailor fit this mask to any size head with just a pair of scizzors and gorilla glue. Seriously anyone looking for a batman cowl, this one is the one for you.Quick tip if you receive it and the ears or mask has unnatural bends in it, blow a Ballon up in the mask and leave it over night. For the ears get some cheap density foam at michaels or joanns and cut it to fit the ears and through the inside of the mask fill the ears and they will be golden. Imperfections within the integrity of the mask can also be fixed with a can of plastidip. Keep the ballon in and simply and lightly do 3-5 coats of platidip on the cowl. The plastidip will naturally expand the latex as it dries and pull out any bumps lips etc. It will also give it a nice smooth look eith no bumps or lumps that latex masks can get. This mask easily can look better then a 300$ custom made one.

Bought this because it looks much better than the hood which came with my store-bought costume. It is not perfect, but perfect could only come from a product custom manufactured for you. I am happy with it. Yes, you should blow up a balloon inside the mask when you take it out of the packaging, and probably stuff the bat ears with foam or tissue paper, but that will be true of any similar product. The neck portion is rather short, as others have mentioned. I did not customize this mask when I first bought it, but I will probably trim off the neck and wear over a cloth hood or balaclava in the future. This is a decent mask for a classic Batman look, and with some easy customization (see YouTube) you can have a really good Halloween party mask. Oh, it will get hot and sweaty inside, but there is almost no way to avoid that with a latex mask.

This is a fantastic mask, but you wouldn’t guess it when opening the mail… truth be told, to get a good mask, it will take a little bit of work after you get it. The mask is made in Mexico, crumpled and slapped in a bag… probably sits in a warehouse there for a few months, gets shipped to the US, probably sits in a warehouse there for a few months… gets mailed to you in a bag that the post office kicks around for a bit, and by the time you open it, looks like Batman’s mask got run over by the BatMobile… But fear not, it’s made of Latex, and with a little work, can get its shape back…Step 1) Stuff the ears with something soft, pliable and lightweight… foam, paper, something… i used cotton balls and taped the bottom of the ears on the inside to keep the cotton balls inside the ears.Step 2) Inflate a 12″ balloon inside the mask to push out the wrinkles, tying the knot about where the chin would be… let it sit for a good 24hrs like thisStep 3) buy a can of Plasti-Dip from your local Hardware Store (or Walmart) for about $6, put 3 or more coats on the mask… this will help preserve the shape and protect the mask as wellStep 4) Get some velcro or a zipper and use this to seal the slit on the backside, which is poorly done as-is out of the bag…If needed, you can also cut/readjust the eyeholes on the mask… some people seem to need this step, I just trimmed some excess material that shouldn’t have been there off, but otherwise left mine more or less as it was out of the bag. Also, I have a pretty big head, but had no problems with this mask, it feels really good fit-wise, but maybe that’s because a latex mask can also stretch if needed, so I think any size adult head will do fine in this mask… it looks really great when you take a little time and effort to clean it up… I wish I had taken a picture of the mask as it was out of the bag, it’s unrecognizable until you put a little work into it! Great mask, I highly recomend!

Definitely a well designed mask. However, you will need to fill the pockets with stuffing to make it look workable. The material is not matte but more satin finish.Remember, take into consideration that you will need to customize it to make it fit right.

It came in a flimsy plastic shipping bag, was worried the ears were gonna be deformed. But it must’ve been stored well cause it was in perfect condition and form. It does come in glossy black, quick fix with some plasti dip from Walmart. If your head is too small buy some high density foam and cut cubes to glue inside the mask, this will give you a more snug fit, you can also cut some pieces for the ears to keep them up. Overall great cowl, plenty of chest rubber to cut and customize with a premium cape

It came with chipped paint and two minor deformities, but it was surprisingly good looking despite being shoved in a plastic bag. Sharpies can cover the chipped paint, and a hair dryer can fix the deformities. The few issues were fixable! Worth buying.

When I saw this mask I knew I had to have it. The Arkham cowl is my favorite cowl and I love the video game series. I’m using it for cosplay. I’m a woman so the fit was loose because it’s designed for a man’s head(which is fair because he is batMAN after all lol) so I modified the mask to better fit me. The paint job could be better. I’m going to redo the paint. The ears are hollow so I’d suggest stuffing them with something like I did so they don’t flop over and look stupid. PEOPLE WITH LONG HAIR BE WARNED the mask has Velcro on the back to fasten it shut and your hair WILL get snagged in it if you don’t wear a wig cap underneath(I know from firsthand experience haha.) it’s made from a durable latex rubber and seems to be decent quality. Well worth the purchase if you’re willing to DIY a few things on it.
