I really like this Gollum mask. I wore it last Halloween and scared a lot of people!There is a piece of padding in the center of the mask (underneath) so it doesn’t slip around your head too much. His hair is really thin and falls out easily so you must treat it delicately.The mask arrived folded up in a smaller box. I took it out and hung it over a thin lamp shade to help structure the mask a little bit. This seemed to help out.Can’t wait to wear this around again.

When I saw this on amazon I got so excited I bought it immediately. I’ve had pretty good mask buying experience on here so i bought it without reading any reviews. Bought a Jason Vorhees one which was awesome looking and great quality. When I opened the package, I was upset at how it looked. It was flimsy and bent and looked like one of those cheap masks they sell at Walgreens and other places like that during Halloween for a few bucks. Doesn’t even look like Gollum. When I put it on I was dismayed. You can hardly see out of it, yet from the outside the holes near the eyes are huge and unnecessary. The mask is so huge even for me, a 24 year old male with a pretty big head. It doesn’t fit right at all. Moves from side to side. Not worth the price. If you ever see this mask for sale for 10 bucks, it might be worth buying but not even the most hardcore Lord of the Rings fan could enjoy such a crappy mask. Spend your money on other Lord of The Rings merch. This mask sucks. Not precious at all.

My 8 year old son just had to be Gollum this year! This mask was reasonably priced so we went for it. It is very creepy & my son gets a kick out of terrifying his little sister with this mask (she won’t even walk down the hallway if his door is open). The hair does fall out really easily though, but we’ll just glue it back on. The mask is VERY big, but it’s suppose to be- because Gollum has a huge head. I took the advice of another reviewer on here and we put a bicycle helmet under the mask and it fits perfectly! It was a little hard to get the mask over the helmet but do-able. Good quality mask and very creepy!!

Everyone complains about the mask being too big, but it is supposed to be large. Golem’s head was proportionally big for his body size. My only complaint is that it is very flimsy and got crumpled during shipping, but I was able to make work. The hair does fall out easily, though, so be careful.

As other reviewers stated, this is a large mask, too large for a human head! However, I stuffed it in the back with some pillow stuffing, taped that in with duct tape, and it worked great. My daughter was truly scary in her outfit, especially as she croaks, “my precious” with some hair raising authenticity.This was a good price for the mask. It should be packaged a little differently as it comes to the house quite flat, and I had to spend a couple of days getting it to be round again. I couldn’t have found this, which is exactly what my daughter wanted, in any store around here.

Although this mask runs big, its amazing & has so many different uses. Its great for a halloween costume and i use it often to scare the crap out of my roommates. I also like to wear it on walks with the dog or while watching netflix with my boyfriend. When i have a bad hair day i usually slip this thing on before i walk out the door so my awful hair is covered up… honestly soo many uses.

Nice, high quality mask. However, since the mask was folded down the middle of the face in the packaging, it was a bit distorted (even after multiple wears) making the nose and mouth more prominent than the pic.

Such a cool mask. It has gotten a little deformed because of the quality, but it’s still such a fun mask and everyone loves it – would absolutely still recommend.
