You really get what you paid for here. It’s not exactly movie-quality, but it’s definitely better than anything you’ll find on the shelf of your local toy store or shopping center.The cowl I received had been creased a fair amount, likely due to handling conditions, which isn’t a manufacturing problem and can be remedied at home if you know what you’re doing. To my surprise, it was a little bit bigger than I expected; I have a fairly large head, and thick hair, so it’s quite rare that headgear ever fits loosely on me. Fortunately, if handled with care, it won’t take too much doing to tighten the fit to your specific measurements.The cowl does completely cover your head, which is a big plus, but it doesn’t go very far down the neck, meaning that unless you’re also wearing something to cover your neck (like a top with a high collar or a scarf), there will likely be some unsightly neck exposure. My biggest complaint, though, is with the ears. Even if you take the time to work out all the unwanted creases in your product, the shape in which the bat-ears of this cowl are molded is best described as “loose”. The ears curve too smoothly into the head, making them look less like pointy ears and more like awkward corners. But if you know a thing or two about costume production, it may very well be possible to better shape this molding for a more refined and appealing look.If you purchase this cowl, don’t expect to receive a film-quality replica of the cowl Ben Affleck wears as his version of the Batman. This product is certainly not without flaws; the abrupt cutoff of the neckline and lack of definition in the ears keep this product from being the best it can be. But even with those issues considered, this cowl is certainly at a higher level of quality than anything you’re likely to find in stores. If you have the know-how and dedication to refurbish it to your needs, this cowl is definitely worth a look for your costume, be it for a fan-project, a cosplay for a conversation, or just for fun. Definitely worth the price I paid for it.

I bought this for a low effort costume idea to have on hand whenever I want to pretend to be having fun while locked in my house during the pandemic…or for parties, whenever those are a thing again.It’s slightly big on me and may need a little shaping with heat or padding so it doesn’t keep pressing into my eyes. Looks pretty decent. It will do the job and meets expectations nicely except for one thing:I really hate the velcro closure on the back! I have long hair and the hooks on one side of the mask catch it and don’t really let go, so every time I take it off, I have to spend a few minutes trying to figure out how to untangle my hair from the loops (tying it back made this even worse). I’ll probably end up wearing a balaclava under it or cutting off the velcro and adding a different kind of closure that isn’t going to pull out or rip all my hair. This might not matter to you if you have shorter hair or are already bald, but I feel it should be mentioned.

It fits perfectly. But I do have a larger head than most. But there’s too much material around the eyes so you have to trim the holes a bit because it pokes your eyes if you look up, down, left, right, FORWARD. The nose was warped too and was a little too long restricting breathing. But trimming that to where my nose actually ends fixed the warpping and made it look better. Over all it’s worth the money for the price.

It’s a good mask to experiment with, but just buy the 50 dollar one because it will most likely not have the same defects as this one. The eyes on my mask were cut wrong, and there were a bit of defects in the rubber.

This mask is for someone with a really big or wide head/face. The mask is as expected otherwise. Just beware and only pick this option if you in fact have a big head and neck.

I cant recommend this more to us big guys with a taste for justice. I can be “doing laundry” batman or even “beach short” batman. Ill still kill it. “Tuxedo” batman. Doesn’t matter. This mask is aces, and it shipped TOO FAST it was here this morning and I didn’t even see it until this afternoon. Get this mask.

The mask is neat in the sense that it does adjust to get on your head and it looks like the cowl. That’s about all the praise I can give it.biggest issue: the eyes. They don’t feel very well placed or cut out. I have trouble seeing correctly out of the mask and when I do adjust it properly the mask looks crooked in the face. Not a bad mask but I couldn’t get past the eye issue.
