O.K., yes, this is a soft foam mask, so it kind of “folds” when placed on a head due to soft, comfy, snug straps at the back. It does have writing on the bottom front, and even up to the mid-sides- concave printing. Now, if you are just a kid trick-or-treatin’ in semi-darkness, no one will notice these problems. Adults at a costume party are another deal- they might notice. So it depends on how sensitive you are. There is a net over one eye in order to give the illusion that you- well, Jason- only have one eye, due to an injury received from Tommy Jarvis. The net does nada- you can plainly see any eye through this net. If one eye was fully covered though, there would be lawsuits on everyone’s doorsteps…or Rubie’s. Or both. My daughter, age twelve, is high-functioning autistic, and she was fine with this mask. She would take it off here and there between houses to air out. The plastic machete is light and not cumbersome. My daughter carried it around with ease with her sugar loot. The price here at Amazon is right- my husband saw the same set at a Halloween store, and the price was very similar. Buy it- it doesn’t have a death curse! This review is dedicated to “Jasonettes” across the world- girls who dress up like Jason Voorhees on Halloween. Plod on!

It served its purpose. I enjoyed this product simply for the reason I bought it, as a fun hidden decoration my husband and I had at our wedding that was on Friday the 13th. You can imagine the laughs and chuckles seeing this displayed at a formal wedding! However, I found the material to feel thin and somewhat cheap foam. The mask had very little structure and sort of laid flat. The mask was large in size and covered an adult males face.

I got this set for my 12 year old to wear for Halloween. I think it’s pretty good for the price. It is a soft material, so the picture is a bit misleading but it still looked good. The machete thing is plastic. Both held up through various Halloween activities on different days. Got here in a timely manner too!

My son thought this was very cool, but the mask was not great. One of the eye holes was missing mesh and the strap broke almost immediately. Machete looks neat, but also not a a battle toy. Easily broken.

I Had purchased the item for my son’s Halloween costume this was a far better choice and Price then what was offered at the stores My son was happy with it the only thing I was mistaken about was that the mask Made of Rubber foam material versus plastic

So I wish I had maybe read a bit further into the description. The mask is as good as a paper one you make alone. Cheap! The bands that hold the mask on ripped apart fr mask several times. Finally annoyed we just hung it on the wall. This would be a great toy or prop to order otherwise the mask. Cheap and not worth the price that for sure!!

The product, specifically the machete, looks more durable in the picture but in reality is thin and flimsy. But get for the price.

The mask is made of crappy foam. It’s inaccurate, misshapen garbage. The machete is a decent plastic one. Better off paying less money for just the machete.
