These helmets are not shipped in a box but a bag. So the helmet, which is rubbery, is wrinkled in odd places. Will try placing it on a wighead to see if the wrinkles will fade. It hangs well, in general, but touching it loses the magic

This is a much better mask than those cheap plastic ones that rip. This mask completely surrounds the head and won’t rip. My teenage son needed it for a dance performance. The mask was a little large on him, so I added some foam to the chin area to help keep the mask in place. You could also use a sponge to fill in the gap. I also took a black marker and smudged in some shadowing on the jaw area to add some definition. My son has a small head for a teenager, but the mask was not as overly large as some of the comments had suggested. I also like that the mask has a large open eye area, so he could see better and didn’t risk scratching his eyes on the mask. I think it is worth the additional cost. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the foam and shadowing that I needed to add. Otherwise, great mask!

For the price I thought it would be a little more solid and not as flimsy but it is better than the helmet that comes with the Shredder costume. I don’t know if I would spend $33 again if I had a choice but my husband really want it so I purchased it. It is a little on the bigger side though so definitely not for kids or women.

a bit large, and the texture and color made me look a but like a giant squid. I had to use the helmet from the other shredder costume that i bought, which was smaller and made of reflective fabric which i got lots of compliments on this year.

I ordered this helmet for myself. It arrived somewhat misshapen, but i let it sit for a few days with a throw pillow stuffed inside of it and the bends worked them self out. I didn’t like the look of the helmet as-is so modified it. I removed the face mask portion and inserted mesh and attached rubber straps so the face-mask rested against my face better. I then painted the whole helmet to make it appear more realistic as I did not like the flat yellowish grey latex color. I am pleased with the final result. The helmet fit great after all my mods.

There is a huge amount of extra space in the jawline/nose area so that the mouth guard part just kinda dangles loosely far below where it should be. But this problem can easily be fixed by simply tucking it back a little bit and applying some hot glue.
