This isn’t the most authentic looking mask and machete – but if your reading this, you probably don’t need something of professional quality. The mask is soft foam with a strap across the back and one over the top. My mask came with a “screen” over only one eyehole, the other screen was MIA from the start. Didn’t really matter, as the one screen over the one eyehole fell off after about 30 seconds. I don’t really care if someone can see my eyes through the eyeholes anyway. It was big enough for an adult, and decent enough for my 3 year old to wear. He is still wearing it and halloween has been done with for over 3 months. Upon first glance, the machete looks ok. however my son broke it within 30 minutes after hitting the couch with it several times. The crack happened where the handle meets the plastic blade (which, by the way, is hollow hard thin plastic). Luckily, I had some black duct tape and taped around the base of the blade and handle a bunch of times. Problem solved and its still holding up, but now its starting to split down the seam near the tip of the blade. This will be fixed with more duct tape. The blood looks so-so and is starting to peel off just a little here and there. the blade looks like it was originally white and spray-painted metallic grey. The paint is starting to flake. Of course, this is over the course of almost daily use in the hands of a 3 year old for a period of over 3 mos. For around $10, it was a fine buy.

I purchased this for my son who wanted to be Jason for Halloween this year. Just getting around late on the review. At first, I was pleased with the purchase, very light weight, easy for him to put the mask on and light weight machete. But happiness didn’t last long for me. Yes, the mask is big but to be expected, since it is made for an adult. My problem was the mask being made of a thin foam material that quickly lost its shape before we were done trick or treating. It still deserves a 3 star rating due to my son still wears it around and now it is December.

I bought these items for Halloween this past year and it turned out great. At first when I opened the package the hockey mask was super flimsy and durable. I guess I expected a hard mask made out of plastic. Yet the flexible one was very comfortable on my face. The machete is cool with the splattered blood. I sure scared and got some crazy looks from people this past Halloween in SF.

We purchased this set for our 9 year old son’s costume and it worked out well for Halloween. The mask was soft and a bit flimsy but it held up nicely and he was happy. I rated 4 stars because the mask was peeling on the corner right after taking it out of the package which didn’t bother us but was a good indication of the quality. Probably not good for repeat wears unless you’re gentle but it served its purpose!

My seven year old was Jason for Halloween 2019. This was a great addition to his Costume while it was a bit small on the back where the bands are it did the job.

I did thought it was the actual plastic hockey mask but that could of been mentioned and I didn’t see it. Overall will see e it’s purpose. Good product for the price.

Only dislike is that the product seems to be cheap made. Machette broke within 15 minutes of son playing with it.

My grandson is obsessed with all things horror and Jason is his favorite character. The mask is nice and soft and doesn’t irritate his face, which is good. The machete didn’t last too long, but he’s pretty rough with his toys.
