βIt is a strange world, a sad world, a world full of miseries, and woes, and troubles. And yet when King Laugh come, he make them all dance to the tune he play. Bleeding hearts, and dry bones of the churchyard, and tears that burn as they fall, all dance together to the music that he make with that smileless mouth of him. Ah, we men and women are like ropes drawn tight with strain that pull us different ways. Then tears come, and like the rain on the ropes, they brace us up, until perhaps the strain become too great, and we break. But King Laugh he come like the sunshine, and he ease off the strain again, and we bear to go on with our labor, what it may be.ββ Bram Stoker, Dracula

I was honestly surprised by the quality of this piece. I was expecting something a lot cheaper in terms of look and quality. I am planning on making a life size prop with this and using the head for that instead of hanging it up. The only complaint I have is the hair. It’s so easy to get tangled and it’s probably the only downfall of this prop. I really wish they would have used a different kind of hair or at least something that didn’t ball up and tangle like a wad of fishing line.

Love it , good weight to it . I would not pay over $20 . Looks just as advertised . I would have gave it 5 stars but it had paint drops and paint ” scuff” marks in the whole left side of the face and ear . Luckily I’m using it for a haunted trail .. so the added imperfection works in my favor ..

I was looking for a scary mask that looked like a female for a halloween mannequin set up in my yard. They are very hard to find. I ordered this. I didn’t realize it was a prop, not a mask. But I was able to use an exacto-knife and cut it open, cut off the bottom, remove the filling, and put it on the maneqquin’s head. That said, you could try the same to use this as a mask for a person, but you would need to cut out the eyes to see and some holes in the mouth to breath. I would recommend looking for something else for that purpose.

This thing is awesome! I LOVE halloween and this makes an excellent addition! There is a string attacked to the head that you can easily hide if you want to make it look like its hanging naturally from its hair. And it looks GREAT! scared my wife a bit when she first saw it.It is oriented somewhat downward, just so you know. So for maximum effect, you should hang it somewhere higher up so that it looks like it’s glaring down at whoever you want the audience to be.I REALLY like it

I read the good reviews on this prop and knew he needed to come visit our house for Halloween. Let me tell you, he is freaky. The detail and expression is great and he is very unique. I pulled him out of the box and, thinking my 7 year old knew I was unwrapping him and thus wouldn’t be too shocked, peeped his head around the corner at her. Oops. She screamed bloody murder, ran away and started crying and fussing at me. Not my best parenting moment. On the upside…it works! Even the dogs were afraid of him. Per my daughter’s instruction, he is safely hidden in his box until it’s time to decorate. I can’t wait to stick him outside!

I think this is one of the coolest props I’ve gotten so far. I was expecting it to be a little different. For the most part it’s a stuffed latex mask, not solid as I read in other reviews, but its definitely cool and is going to be used at my Halloween party.
