The XL wouldn’t go around my bully girl’s neck but that was easy to remedy with an extra strip of velcro I had on hand. I agree with the others that the velcro it comes with is pretty poor, but just using the extra strip of quality stuff made it hold pretty well. The area around the neck is padded and soft which is nice as it didn’t seem to bother her at all.

This cape is really cute, it is high quality except for the velcro fastener.The neck size even fits kids and women with smaller necks. So if you don’t want to spend $25+ on the full size woman’s cape, go for this mini version for dogs.The should have made the fastener better, even strings would have been better than a shrimpy tiny piece of velcro. The fastener needs to be upgraded to secure better on who ever wears this (human or dog). So plan on securing it better if you don’t want to lose it in transit. Use a small safety pin, or sew on strings to the ends, or sew on a larger piece of velcro to both ends … that would be my suggestion.

Cute cape, cheaply made. The velcros is so small it bearly holds it on. I bought the XXL for my PUPPY so beware of size. She is a 7 month old Doberman it fit her perfect but is WAY to small for my older dog.

Costume does not stay on very well. Velcro opens easily.

It was a little too long and my dog tangle on it. The velcro is weak and don’t hold for a long time, but I attached the cape to her collar and it worked.
