   The only thing that’s keeping this review from a 5 is that it’s all pretty cheaply made. But, then again, it was all pretty cheap — you get what you pay for! The elastic for the tail is a waste of time; not even my too-skinny 5 year old could get that over her waist. Safety pins fix that problem. The bow tie was much too big – fit my five year old like a necklace. She didn’t care. Ears might last for a few wears, but if they don’t, no problem. $5 Halloween costume is purrrrfect!

   At a very low price, it’s worth it for the ears only.You have to find a way to make due with the tail. It won’t stand up like in the photos. There’s a flimsy elastic attached and you would be lucky if you can get it to hang pointing outward. You will need something you can attach the tail to by threading it through the flimsy elastic loop. A belt, belt-loop, clothing tag… good luck.The bow tie has a pretty cheap look. Gold-colored stuff in the middle. I wouldn’t use it anyway. For one, because cats don’t wear ties.

   Very cute set for the price. The tail is very short for a cat tail, about 8 inches. Still giving it four stars because it was pretty inexpensive but if the tail had been at least a foot long or more it would’ve been a five star review.

   Purchased for my 2 year olds Halloween costume. Based on the cheap price I had relatively low expectations. The product was better than I had anticipated though. The ears are decent quality and fit my 2 year olds head well. The headband seams strong enough and my daughter thought they were fun. I have mixed feelings on the tail, I feel like it should be longer even for a small children’s costume. I expected it to attach by going around the waist, instead it has a flimsy piece of elastic about the size of a women’s hair tie. No comments on the bow tie as we don’t plan to use it. For the price and what we needed I’m satisfied but not thrilled.

   You get what you pay for. Great value for the cost. I gave sturdiness a one star because as soon as she put the elastic band tail on the band broke immediately. So I had to safety pin it, not too bad. The head band was in good shape and held up. The tail portion held up too. I would reuse this set again if need be.

   I wore the ears for my cat burglar costume and they were fine for me. I know they market it towards kids, but adult sets were way more expensive. I didn’t use the tail because I couldn’t figure out how to attach it, but I suppose a safety pin would have worked. I didn’t wear pants with a belt loop so that was not possible for me. The tail has an elastic loop on the end of it for attachment. The bow tie I didn’t need, so I didn’t use it, but I did put it on my cat and he looked quite dapper.

   Everything was good, except I wasn’t sure how to get the tail on my daughter for her costume. It is just a loop, so I could pin it, but it looks like it’s supposed to be wrapped around the body. I would recommend it though!

   Very cute set which we used to be Bad Kitty on Book Character Day. But beware – tail is just a tail. My daughter pointed the tail to my granddaughters dress and it pulled a hole by the end of the day.. We expected it to be more “ready for wear”.
