   I rated 3 stars because “adult” sized, to me, means it should fit actual adults.This is cut like many costumes–very straight and is sized similarly to (the dreaded) wedding/bridesmaid dresses you get in bridal stores. I am 5’1″, 135 lbs, usually wear 8 (sometimes 10) and if I gained 5 pounds this costume would show the bulges and bumps. The material is quite stretchy, so if you don’t mind the curves showing, possibly it would fit up to a size 14. It is definitely NOT Plus-sized (I’ve been plus-sized, so I know). On me it hit the floor and then some (approx. 2-3 inches).I would not pay more than about $15-17 for the costume.I returned it because it was too long for me.

   It’s old school and simple, just what I was looking for! So many today are like Gothic Victorian pretty dresses, but witchy women of the woods and hedges were simple and practical. Back as a kid I had a witch dress like this and can’t find one today anywhere else but here. It fits me great, I am 5 8 aprox 148 pounds and it’s not tight, it’s loose but not baggy and it’s not falling off me. I don’t know if the strip of fabric added is a hat scarf or belt, but I won’t be using it, I like the dress as is. Nice it comes with a cute little hat so the costume is perfect. I already have several witch hats, a vintage one and a nice knitted one I got here on amazon with more weight to it so unlike the costume ones, it won’t blow off in the wind. This dress in perfect and I can use it for Halloween as well as just for general witchy feels in the fall.

   I am berween 5’4″-5’5″ and this is too long for me. It’s pretty thin material so I think I can cut some off the length but wish I didn’t have to. Otherwise, I like this.

   The dress part was nice. The belt was very short. And no broom but will deal with it. It says one size. But the package says 14-16.
