I was motivated to purchase this mask when I saw what the final look of Bane was going to be. I had just recently shaved my head, completely bald, and I thought that this would be a look I could pull of well. I finally got the mask today and it honestly looked great. I just had two small problems that I’ll attempt to remedy.1. As other reviewers pointed out, it does not completely cover the ears like the original mask. I have a few ideas for a solution but if any other buyers want to share there ideas, I’d love to read them.2. I was hoping that I could leave my goatee on and that the mask would cover it, but I still have a few hairs poking out as well as mild irritation from taking the mask on and off. This is just my experience that I thought I’d share with any other gents who decided to purchase this mask while sporting any type of facial hair. I personally don’t mind shaving my goatee off for now but perhaps the rest of you may figure something else out.

SO I purchased this mask because it was the most available one for the lowest price I could find. When it arrived, I was not really dissapointed. This isn’t Bane’s exact to the teeth mask for TDKR, but it does it’s job. I am a 6’5 275lb male with what I believe to be a smaller than normal head (M/L hat size) and it fit well. It allows for enough breathing room inside of the mask and fits comfortably. I wore the mask for the first time tonight to a Halloween party and it was a huge hit! I had a full Bane outfit on and a lot of people were asking about the mask mostly. They said it looked pretty sweet and really worked. Now I did sweat a bit in the mask so make sure to wash it out just to avoid it smelling. Also, the mask in the picture is fully painted and the real mask is not, so if you want to be real technical, take some silver paint and paint all the spots you wish. Here is a link to myself in the full costume with the mask on […] Feel free to take a look.TL/DR: Mask works for the price and if you plan to wear it only a couple times for parties and such. People really liked it.

For the price, this was a cheap and quick costume. there aren’t a lot of good costumes for a big bald guy so I was excited to order this mask and go as a recognizable character.Unfortunately, when I got the mask it was really warped and the paint job on it was terrible. On the metallic hoses running along the top the painter literally ran a stripe down each hose leaving over 50 % of the hosing the same color as the rest of the mask. this was pretty much consistent with the rest of the parts that were supposed to be metallic silver as well. There were a lot of places where silver, brown, or black paint was slopped on the mask carelessly.Thankfully I ordered this item with enough time to alter it to my desire. I had re paint at least half or more of the mask, and use some extensive wire supports to get the mask to look like someone hadn’t ran it over with a truck.I was quite happy with it once I had put in the time to make it presentable. While it is a cheap buy, I would urge those last minute Halloween buyers to spend the extra cash and get the movie quality masks that are out there, unless you feel like half-*ssing your costume.I did have to cut and bring in the size of the mask as well. I have a pretty big head and it was still loose on me, I can’t really count that against the makers as it would be rather expensive to make multiple size masks at the price they offer. For you project people out there, this is a great idea as well. You can use the mask as a frame to get the general look and go crazy with your own detailing.Sorry this was so long. I just felt like informing the buyers on what they are ordering.

Ok, I have been looking for a Bane mask for some time now. I tried the 2 different CoserX versions the painted and unpainted. The painted version was super tight and the top part that goes overhead was uncomfortable. The unpainted version was unbearably right around the jaw and mouth. Mind you I wear a 7 5/8 fitted hat comfortably, so my head is large but not huge.As a last ditch attempt I took a chance on this one because if the couple good reviews among the numerous negative. Well I got it today and couldn’t be more pleased!!! Yes it’s typical Halloween mask material, not the rigid rubber CoserX uses. And, yes the paint is not 100% perfect. However, it is very spot on to the movie mask! It’s just the accuracy of the painting goes outside the lines on some parts. I fitting just slightly loose is great!!! Very comfortable, I can breath and move easily! Doesn’t leave any marks on my head or face like the other 2 either. I’m not a Cosplay contestant so the very sutble imperfections do not bother me one bit. Plus, if you are into Cosplay shouldn’t you be making your own original creation and not buying a prefabricated mask anyway?Bottom line, the negatives others have posted, are positives for me. It stays in place just fine while being totally comfortable. The durability seems to be just like any other Halloween mask, if you don’t totally abuse it, it will no doubt last years to come. I have masks I saved from childhood made from the same material that still for just fine. Not to mention it cost almost 75% less than the other 2! I recommend this mask for any anyone non competitive.
