I had to sew modifications into this dress. The clear, plastic bra straps broke the first time I put it on. The straps for the arms do not hold the top part of the dress up with out the plastic straps. At first I tried to move the arm straps up, but then the dress was up too high. Ultimately, I tore it all apart and then used the leg socks to make new arm straps. I then had to tack the top back because it was somewhat too large for me. It took work on my part but, I was at hit when I wore it. If you do not have the time or the sewing know how to modify the dress, I would advise against buying it.

I really really liked this costume but as most people have already stated, the demi straps are really tight. I couldn’t wear them at all because I was unable to move my arms! Also, the plastic straps aren’t very durable either. I got this dress mostly because of my bust size and I had to rearrange and reattach both plastic straps so it would hold up! Other than that, loved the dress and I got tons of compliments on how cute the costume was!

If I could give it 0 I would. I will start from the top and go down because there is so much to say. First the headband. It was so top heavy with no support around your head. It should have had at least a spiky inside to stay firmly. I would have to have a thousand hair pins and probably would have to spray 8 layers of hairspray to basically meld the headband to my hair for it to stay.The mask fit my 1 year old niece. Not me. The strings on this thing is not even long enough for a 18″ diameter head and that’s nearly no adult woman, especially with the thickness of our hair to add only that.Then the dress. If you look at my pictures, I did not alter the item whatsoever. Also, I laid the dress completely flat, so no I did not fold it over in any way. So where are the sleeves? The arms are sewn to the back side of the dress. How is it even possible to get your arms in there? Unless you completely shift your boobs to have one beautiful uni-boob to have 3 inches on either side of your boobs for the sleeves to fit on your shoulders… Yeah.Also if you look at the close up you can see how it is sewn vertical to the side hem of the dress. So how is it physically possible to wear these sleeves on the side of your arms comfortably? You can’t! It’s sewn so wrong!!Then to the arm glovelets. The red one fit fine and barely moved. The black one was so loose around the upper arms it kept slipping down in the 5 minutes I had it on to try it. I swapped the arms the colors were on just to see and it did the same thing, black one kept falling. They’re not the same length OR width. Terrible.Finally, the last part of the costume: The thigh highs. Omg. Wow. How is it possible that this legging had 2 holes that were exactly the same hole size. Really. Who’s thigh is the exact same circumference as their ankle? Also, this model is tall. I am 5’0″. How is it possible that these leggings were shorter than hers and how did hers fit like tights??? On both colors, my thighs had all circulation cut off, and the ankles were baggy.I couldn’t even use a PIECE of this outfit to match my current wardrobe to make my own twist on this costume. Returning. Do not waste your money!!!!

It is cute and great for roll play or costume parties. It is made from a very thin material. I would love for the thigh highs be made of some kind of stretch material being that plus size woman have different thigh shapes. Overall it is a great product and would just buy a bigger size.

This costume was just what I expected. I wear a size 16 pants and size 2x shirt. With a pair of Spanx, this costume looked nice on me. The quality is not great – like any costume out of a bag. The straps are flimsy and the arm bands are oddly placed and too tight. I actually cut the arm bands off and sewed them on as arm straps. The headband was fine. I have a large head and was able to wear the headband comfortably all evening. The eye mask was too small so I wore it for pictures only. I would buy this costume again.

This could be much worse. I was expecting to be 100% disappointed based on the reviews, however, I was surprised that this dress fit me okay. I’m an 18-20 (smaller waist, giant butt) and with some spanx this fits nicely. I will say that the placement of the sleeves is ridiculous. This is made for smaller women with bigger chests, whereas I’m a bigger woman with a smaller chest. I knew adjustments would need to be made anyway because this is far too revealing for work so I took the chance. The alterations were easy and the dress cooperated. Don’t plan to wear this right out of the package, however, this can easily be made to work with a little bit of sewing skills.

I really don’t understand why it has so many bad reviews ….. It’s an amazing costume and very flattering …..my boyfriend wanted me to dress up as Harley since he was going as the joker, but for a big girl that’s obviously a problem (specially suicide squad version) but when I found this I i fell in love. I was not going to buy it because of all the negative reviews but I’m so happy I did. It fit perfectly and it look so good. Everyone loved the way I look. The only problem I had was that the little plastic straps the hold the dress on your chest did rip off pretty much as soon as I took the costume out of the package but nothing that my very bad but good enough sewing skills couldn’t fix…… Defenitly one of my best buys here in Amazon.

I bought this for a bachelorette party gift. She absolutely loved it, but said the sleeves were redicuously to small. Thankfully, she is very crafty and is going to redo them herself.
